Events Leading to the Revolution
The Revolution started in 1775 when a conflict started between the 13 colonies. The 13 colonies we're fighting for their Independence from Britten, there we're several events that lead up to the Revolution, but not one can be pointed as the main cause of the Revolution. The war started when a disagreement with the British on how the British treated to colonies against how the colonist felt they should have been treated by the British. The colonist felt that they should have the same rights as the British had. The British stated that the colonist we're only created in a way to help the British Government. This lead up to No taxation without representation. There we're several events that lead to the Revolution such as The French and Indian War, Proclamation of 1763, Sugar Act, Currency Act, Stamp Act, Townsend Act and many different events. The American Revolution Grew with the continuous limitations that we're being put on the Colonists. Only one third we're for the rebellion, one third continued to side with the British, the last third we're neutral on the events.

The 1st act passed was to close the Boston port until the colonist came up with the money to repay the British for the amount of tea lost during the Boston Tea Party. They made it legal for a British solider to not be tied in the colonist for any crimes they committed. Basically the soldiers had the right to do anything they wanted. They restricted the colonist to one town meeting per year. The colonist had to supply housing for British soldiers. These acts passed made colonists very upset and this only deepened the revolution against the British.
